who is Max?

Max Studios is a creative studio led by Alisha Rich and Mike Fill, specialising in set decoration, prop styling, artistic installations.

We partner with brands, directors, agencies and artists to transform ideas into visual stories—creating work that is thoughtful, memorable and designed to connect people with places, products and experiences.

Our company is named after Maxwell Langworthy. Alisha’s grandfather who was creative, playful & clever .

ALISHA RICH
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & CO-FOUNDER

Alisha Rich is a Sydney-based set decorator, prop stylist, wardrobe stylist and artist working across TVCs, advertising, film and commercial creative projects. Creative Director & Co- Founder of Max Studios.

With a background spanning fine art, visual merchandising, events and fashion, Alisha brings a strong visual eye and a practical, hands-on approach to every project.

Her experience includes set decoration, prop styling and sourcing, wardrobe styling, set builds and large-scale ephemeral installations, working collaboratively with photographers, directors, producers and creative teams.

Previously Head of Event Styling at Merivale and with a background at David Jones, Alisha now focuses on creating considered, visually engaging sets and spaces for screen, photography and live environments.

Alongside her commercial work, Alisha maintains her own art practice.

MIKE FILL
MANAGING DIRECTOR & CO-FOUNDER

Mike Fill is a strategic thinker, creative operator and systems-focused leader who thrives on turning ideas into reality. With a rare ability to see both the big picture and the smallest detail, he brings structure, clarity and momentum to complex creative projects

Known for his calm, considered approach, .Mike has built a career leading teams, developing processes and delivering high-quality creative outcomes across retail, events and brand environments. He is particularly interested in how strong systems, communication and planning can empower teams to do their best work while maintaining exceptional standards..

As Head of Event Styling at Merivale, Mike leads the delivery of styling experiences across a diverse portfolio of venues and events, balancing creativity with operational excellence. His strength lies in connecting vision with execution — ensuring ideas are not only inspiring, but achievable.

As co-founder of MAX Studios, Mike combines strategic thinking, practical problem-solving and a meticulous eye for detail to help bring creative concepts to life. His ability to create order from complexity makes him an invaluable partner in delivering thoughtful, memorable and beautifully executed experiences.
